Configure SuperVolume:

3. In the new window the current SuperVolume parameter for this volume is displayed. A value "Status, no filter active" in the bottom box means SuperVolume has not been enabled on this particular volume. Click the Start... button to open the configuration window.

4. In the new configuration window, set the Lazywrite latency in seconds. Typical setting is 4 seconds (maximum is 600 seconds). Lazywrite should only be used if the system has a backup power supply. Click OK to enable SuperVolume.

This will take you back to the prior window (see above screen shot) . The bottom box will now read "Status: Normal". This indicates that SuperVolume is enabled on that volume. Please note, that a few seconds or minutes are needed for SuperVolume to transfer (mirror) all the data on the volume (partition) into RAM. So performance will increase over a short period of time but thereafter remain at a high constant rate.

IF you have sufficient RAM SuperVolume can be enabled on multiple volumes.
